The Festival
In the Summer of 2019, we launched our eighth issue dedicated to a street in Taipei with a 20.5 hour festival at Berlin’s Haus der Kulturen der Welt. In one day and one night we brought together contributors from Taiwan, past Flaneur contributors as well as Berlin-based artists and researchers working within urban practices. Attempting to make the interdisciplinary projects of the magazine accessible and participatory, Flaneur Festival featured: Workshops • Live Piano Karaoke Bar • Panels • Roundtables • Sound Walks • Performances • Rooftop Terrace • Video Walks • Taiwanese Movie Night • Reading Room • Stargazing Sound Session • Sunrise Breakfast
